We offer notarial services as Notary Public for the State of Florida. There is always a Notary on duty in our store, but we suggest to call us before coming by.
A notarized document is important and depending on the type of documents is can be same as testifying in court. It is important to agree with:
- All the persons signing the document must read it completely and confirm that they are fully informed about its content and signing in their voluntary act. The notary can read read the document aloud to this signer if it consider it doesn’t understand the contents or haven’t read it.
- The document must be signed and dated in front of the notary, not previously. All signatories must be present at the time their signature to be notarized. The document cannot be post date or antedate: must have the current date.
- All signatories must show the notary a current photo ID with a signature. Valid IDs are:
- Driver’s License
- Passport
- Photo identification card issued (within the past five years) by a state or branch of the federal government
- If your document requires the signature of witnesses in addition to the notary, it’s your responsability to bring them with you at the time of the notarization.
- We cannot notarize documents that are not written in a language we don’t understand. English and Spanish are OK.
We offer notarization of documents at your business or residence. You have to make an appointment and there will be extra charges for notary travel.
